New book!

I can't wait for you to meet Jameson. He's seriously my favorite character ever because he's a charming hero. I haven't written many of these, but I had so much fun writing him! My inspiration came from a bus driver my kids had for a few days (years ago). He was a young attractive man who dressed up in a costume every day, think- a ketchup bottle, Dr. Suess, etc. I knew when the right book came along for this hero, I'd know. This was it.

The firefighter who loves mentoring kids so much he substitutes in middles schools and drives buses on his days off. If you have a middle schooler you'll know what I'm talking about because they can't get subs. Everyone wants to be in elementary school. This age is tough but Jameson loves it. It might be because his siblings never accepted his quirky personality, and he wants to provide support for other teens. But you will love him - he's fun-loving, protective, and the best kind of guy. The only problem—he doesn't think he's good enough for strait-laced Claire. So he focuses on her son, Owen, helping him be the best football player he can be.

And when he offers her his fire-department issued hoodie? All bets are off...

Wanting her with every beat of my heart doesn’t necessarily mean we’re destined for happily ever after…

I never really cared that everyone saw me as nothing more than the charming Calloway—the one who refused to grow up.

Until I met her.

Claire is sexy. Smart. Put together in a way I’ll probably never be.

She’s also the single mom of one of my students, which means a relationship with her is strictly forbidden.

Too bad that wasn’t enough to keep her off my mind. Or out of my bed.

Now, the more time I spend time with her, the more I realize I’m in over my head. Falling for her is way too easy.

The hard part will be convincing myself—and her—that I might be a forever kind of guy after all…

"I absolutely loved Jamison and Claire! They are a match made in heaven. Jamison's character is fun loving, easy going, and carefree. He is such a charmer. He was the perfect person for this story line. A single mom and a hot fire fighter, mmmm my favorite trope." - Patty, Moonshine's Corner Book Blog

"There is nothing I love more than a big, strong, hard working man and when that man craves the love of a good woman, I am in my romance reading glory. Jameson Calloway is all of that and so much more and it would take a special woman to fill that role. Divorced single mom, Claire Coleman was not looking for a relationship or love when Jameson entered the picture. With his big heart and generous nature, Jameson worked his magic on both her and her son, Owen. He had so much love and affection to give and he gave it happily to them. I loved this about him. It’s what made him perfect in my eyes despite his imperfections. For her part Claire, although hesitant at first, was willing to take a chance and go all in with him. And doesn’t that make for the best kind of love story? This book was a keeper. I’m giving 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗠𝗬 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗧 the judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval, TBR and Enjoy!" - Judy Ann Loves Books
